Update

So much has happened since my last post...so here is the brief rundown. The owners of the power plant I worked at in Hobbs opted to cancel the Colorado Energy operating contract and went with a new company. Shocking news (but somewhat expected), but CEM decided to offer me a job with the corporate office in Lafayette, CO...so we moved again. This meant a couple changes...
1. Right when the garden started producing vegetables, I had to move. (A very sad state of affairs)
2. I now have to begin shoveling snow during the winter months
This has been a good move and I have learned a LOT about the environmental business, but there are days I miss the plant and a few of the folks that worked there.

Dylan started playing tackle football this year. During our first visit to Wal-Mart, a lady ran over to Karri and asked how old D was and if he would be interested in playing tackle football. That is right....my son was recruited! He started off not liking to hit anyone, but every week makes massive progress. He made his first tackle in a game last week and starts as left tackle on offense. (He is a GREAT blocker) So Dylan is a Lafayette Bobcat. (I will try and post pictures later.)

The picture above is out of my front door today. The office was shut down at noon today (we measured and there is currently 5 inches on the ground) because we are supposed to get 12 inches by tonight and another 6 inches tomorrow.

Toodles!
