Long Time Since the Last Post

I just wanted to update the blog, since I'm here at lunch and I haven't posted for quite a while. Here is a brief rundown on what's going on.

Work:
I continue to be here in Hobbs, NM building the Hobbs Power Plant. We are really pushing the electrical folks now to hit our first major milestone of Backfeed. This is when we bring power in from Xcel Energy and power up our major pieces of equipment. After the plant is up and running, we will sell power to Xcel Energy, but for now we are going to buy it. I'd get more technical, but I doubt anyone that reads this will really care that much. I continue to love my job and can't wait to finish up this job so we can move along to the next. Ah, the life of a gypsy. I think I missed my calling.

Home:
All is well at home. Cole is starting to talk more and more, and he copies everything I say (or at least tries to). Natalie is now dancing at a dance studio in Hobbs and loves it. We have a recital in Aprilish and had to shell out a bunch of money. Good Times. Dylan had a science project that he put into a science fair and ended up getting 2nd place. He is in second grade but competed against 1st thru 3rd grade. We of course were very proud of him. I have a picture on my phone, but can't get it moved to this page. I'll get better if I continue to actually blog during lunch. Karri is still prego and due in January. We don't know what we are having and are not going to find out. This will be the only suprise of the bunch, so it should be fun during birth. (Well, as much fun as birth can be)
