No TV is Good for the Soul

So I need to just come out and say this.....I don't have t.v. Don't get me wrong. I own a television. In fact it is a very large television that fits in perfectly with my entire basement t.v. viewing room. It is like my families own private theatre. The thing is, I don't have cable or rabbit ears or any channel for that matter. In the day of American Idol, Lost, House, and Survior, I am completely in the dark...and you know what? I like it. (I admit, I own season 1 & 2 of House on DVD and will get season 3 when it comes out)Not a single morning comes around where I think to myself, "Self - you should have really gotten of your arse yesterday night and done something around the house." That's right, I actually get to spend my evenings with my family playing games, talking, and playing outside. If anyone is in a rut...I recommend cutting out your t.v. (Just make sure someone you know keeps it so you can watch Husker football games and other sporting events)

In other news, I have lost 12 lbs in the "May the best Fatty Win" contest. I was down to 224 lbs the other day and I continue to get smaller. I have now started getting up a little earlier to ride my bike in the morning. That's right Jon, diet and excersise. I hope your legs will look good in a dress.

I hope all is well and I will be back later.

Toodles,
Adam

Apparently not watching TV leads to some other activities...such as building a small tribe of Rogges. You must be a glutton for punishment.
